Shun Yong

Shun is an interdisciplinary artist and educator exploring the intersections of identity, community, and material. His personal work has been shown at the Kochi Paper Museum at Japan, Zhengbin Habour Museum of Art at Taiwan, Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Gould Library and Boliou Hall at Carleton College, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, and Soo Visual Arts Center. He is the recipient of the MCAD 2025 McKinight Visual Artist Fellowship for Mid-Career Artist, 2020/21 MCAD-Jerome Fellowship for Early Career Artists and the 2019 MCBA/Jerome Foundation Book Arts Fellowship Series XV. I taught photography and art courses at Carleton College, Augsburg University and Hamline University.
